Boshuisje de Kempen is located on the intimate Chaletpark Kempenbos, a wonderfully peaceful and car-free park set right in the heart of nature. It is the perfect base for those who value privacy and relaxation; as soon as you enter the park, you find yourself straight among the trees, listening to the birdsong.
Fancy venturing out for a bit? It is just a short 5 to 10-minute stroll to the adjacent Summio Park. Here, as a guest, you can enjoy complimentary use of the swimming pool and playgrounds. You can also sit down for a lovely meal at the restaurant, or hire a bike to explore the beautiful surroundings of the Brabantse Kempen.

Take a moment to cool off
On warm days, the park’s pool is a real treat. The heated outdoor pool is open from early May to mid-September. For the little ones, there is a separate toddler pool, and the spacious sun lawn with terrace makes it perfect for alternating between nature, relaxation, and water fun.
Daily fresh bread rolls
Delicious food and drink just a short walk away
Just a stone's throw from the cabin, you'll find a little market offering a convenient bread service, a collection point, and a mini-market. Start your morning with a brief walk down a woodland path to fetch freshly baked rolls or grab a quick grocery item. If you fancy a drink outdoors, head over to the Auberge De Hilver restaurant. Here, you can enjoy lunch, dinner, or a refreshing beverage on the terrace while the children play in the adjoining playground

Fun and games for the kids
The park offers plenty of activities for children. During the summer holidays, the Summio park features a Kids Club and a Fun & Entertainment programme. Additionally, you will find several playgrounds, a sports pitch, a table tennis table, and a mini-golf course. Also great fun: the giant draughts board or a game of pool on the park. There is never a dull moment here, especially if you are bringing the kids!
Hire a bike or e-chopper
Get out and explore the local area
Keen to explore the beautiful surroundings of the Brabantse Kempen? You can hire an (electric) bike or an e-chopper from the park reception. From the exit, you can ride straight out into the expansive countryside. Cycle through the ancient woods of the Landgoed de Utrecht estate, discover the idyllic woodland pools, or enjoy a lovely ride to charming nearby villages such as Esbeek or the welcoming, historic centre of Hilvarenbeek itself.
