Hi there!

We are Thijmen, Marjolein, and our daughter Emma – a young family from Brabant with a great love for nature, peace, and lovely places to spend time together.

We used to rent cabins ourselves in the Netherlands. But honestly? We often ran into things that were just not quite right: too little space, impractical layouts, or a lack of atmosphere. We thought it had to be possible to do better. That’s how the idea for our own forest cabin was born, with attention to detail and a warm welcome for our guests.

Boshuisje de Kempen is a place we love ourselves: cozy, natural, and with enough comfort to truly relax. We’ve thought about the interior, the amenities, and how guests can really feel at home, whether you come alone, as a couple, with a baby, or with the whole family.

Simplicity, quiet, warmth. A place to take a deep breath and have time entirely for yourself.
