By placing a booking, you agree to the house rules and booking conditions below.

For a pleasant and safe stay for everyone
1. What do we expect from you as a guest?

Treat the cabin and the park as if it were your own home and garden: tidy, quiet, and with respect for others.

Indoor furniture may not be moved outside (with the exception of the highchair).
-
The number of guests may not exceed the number specified in the reservation.
-
Additional overnight guests are only allowed with prior written permission.
-
Smoking is not allowed indoors. Outdoors, smoking is only permitted on the veranda. Please use your own ashtray and never bring ashes inside.

Dogs and other pets are not allowed.
-
Guests are welcome to relax in our infrared sauna. We kindly ask you to be covered when moving to and from the sauna this can be swimwear, a bathrobe, or other appropriate clothing. This ensures privacy and comfort for everyone around.

Professional erotic activities or escort services are strictly prohibited in the cabin, as is the possession or use of drugs.

Wi-Fi is provided for normal, legal internet use only. Illegal downloads or streaming of copyrighted material are not permitted.

Please remove your shoes when entering the cabin this helps us keep the interior clean and fresh.
2. Safety

Lost keys must be reported immediately. Replacement costs may be charged.
-
Always lock windows and doors when leaving the cabin.

In case of emergency: call 112 first, secure yourself and others, and notify us (the hosts) as soon as possible.
-
Information about emergency services and the nearest hospital can be found in the information folder inside the cabin.
3. Quiet hours & neighbors

Please respect quiet hours between 10:00 PM and 8:00 AM. The park must remain silent during this time.

Parties, events, and loud music are not allowed.
-
During the day, please also keep noise to a minimum sound travels far in a natural setting.
4. Traffic & parking

The park is car-free. Only on Mondays and Fridays are cabin owners permitted to drive into the park briefly for loading and unloading.

Guests must park in the designated parking area just outside the entrance gate. These spaces are reserved for renters. Parking spaces inside the barrier are for owners only.

Mopeds and motorbikes must be walked with the engine turned off.
-
Charging of electric cars is not possible at the cabin. A charging point is available at the main parking area at the entrance of the park.
5. Waste disposal

Waste must be separated: use the containers for residual waste, glass, paper, and plastic.
-
Do not leave waste outside the containers.
-
Do not leave food scraps in the garden, not even for birds.
-
Bulky waste may not be placed in or near the containers.
6. Damage
-
If something breaks during your stay, please report it immediately so we can replace or repair it before the next guests arrive.

In case of major damage, we will work together to find a fair solution.
7. Children
Children are very welcome at The Kempen Forest Cabin. We do ask for extra care regarding their safety and use of the facilities.
Facilities:

A highchair is available.
-
A travel cot (120x60 cm) is available (please bring your own bedding and fitted sheet).

Children’s tableware is available in the kitchen.
Safety:

The garden is not fenced and located in a forested area. Please supervise children at all times when playing outside.

Supervise children on the terrace and veranda (there is a higher step).
-
Be careful with open windows and doors, especially with small children.
Hygiene & care:
-
Please handle furniture, toys, and inventory with care.
-
Do not change diapers on beds or sofas — use a mat or towel instead.
-
Dispose of diapers in sealed bags in the residual waste bin.
Booking Terms & Conditions
1. Reservation & confirmation
1.1 A booking is only final after written confirmation by email.
1.2 A deposit is required at the time of booking. The balance must be paid no later than 60 days before arrival, unless otherwise agreed.
1.3 In the unlikely event of a double booking (e.g., due to a technical error), the most recent booking will be cancelled. You will, of course, receive a full refund.

2. Cancellation & changes
2.1 To cancel your reservation, email us at info@boshuisjedekempen.nl. The following cancellation policy applies:

Up to 60 days before arrival: free cancellation (0% of the booking amount)

59 to 30 days before arrival: 25% of the booking amount
-
29 to 14 days before arrival: 50% of the booking amount
-
13 to 7 days before arrival: 75% of the booking amount
-
Within 6 days before arrival: 90% of the booking amount
-
On the day of arrival: 100% of the booking amount
Refunds will be processed within 7 days.
2.2 Prefer to reschedule? Contact us if we can rebook the original dates with another guest, we are happy to offer a cost-free change.
2.3 We recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance to protect yourself against unexpected events such as illness or work obligations.
2.4 If we are forced to cancel your booking (e.g., due to unforeseen circumstances), you will, of course, receive a full refund.

3. Arrival & departure
3.1 Check-in from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival.
3.2 Check-out no later than 10:00 AM on the day of departure.
Early check-in or late check-out is only possible by prior agreement and subject to availability.

4. Liability & damage
4.1 Guests are responsible for any damage to the cabin, furnishings, or facilities during their stay. Small accidents (such as a broken glass) can happen please inform us so we can replace items for the next guests.
4.2 For more significant damage (e.g., to furniture, sauna, doors, locks, or in case of fire or serious contamination), repair costs may be charged. Such damages are often covered by your liability insurance.
4.3 Lost keys must be reported immediately. Replacement costs will be charged.

5. Access to the cabin
5.1 We respect your privacy, but we reserve the right to enter the cabin in necessary cases (e.g., technical issues, suspected damage).
5.2 We will always attempt to contact you first.

6. Force majeure
6.1 The hosts are not liable for loss or damage to personal belongings, or for injury during your stay.
6.2 The hosts are not responsible for temporary failures of utilities, technical equipment, or internet, but will do their best to resolve issues promptly.
6.3 The hosts are not liable for inconvenience caused by third parties, such as neighbors, maintenance, or temporary works in the area.

7. House rules
7.1 During your stay, you must adhere to our house rules. These are provided before arrival and are also available inside the cabin. In case of serious violations, we reserve the right to terminate the stay immediately, without refund.
