How many people can stay at De Kempen Forest Cabin?

The cabin can sleep 4 people plus 1 baby or small child (max 3 years old). There are two bedrooms: one bedroom with a double bed and one bedroom with two single beds.

Are babies and children welcome?

Babies and children are very welcome in our cabin! Please bear in mind that the interior is not specifically designed for little ones, so it is not completely child- or baby-proof.A travel cot with an extra-thick mattress is provided, though we do ask that you bring your own blanket for this. A highchair and plastic children's tableware are also available. We kindly ask that you take care of the interior so that everything remains in lovely condition for our next guests.

Unfortunately, pets are not permitted due to park regulations. As animal lovers ourselves, we would have loved to welcome your furry friends! On the bright side, this policy does mean the cabin remains perfectly allergy-friendly and wonderfully clean.

Unfortunately, the cabin is not wheelchair accessible due to a step at the entrance. Because of this, it is less suitable for guests who are fully dependent on a wheelchair.

How can I check in and out, and what are the times?

Check-in and check-out are contactless via a key safe. You will receive the code by email prior to arrival. Check-in is from 15:00, and check-out is by 10:00. Early check-in or late check-out may be possible by prior arrangement, subject to availability. Please contact us to enquire.

Yes, Wi-Fi is available and included in your stay. You can find the password in the welcome guide.

Where can I park my car?

Accepted Answer

You can park your car in the central parking lot at the park entrance. It is a car-free park. On Mondays and Fridays, cottage owners are permitted to enter the park at walking speed; however, this is not possible for guests.

Is the cabin easily accessible by public transport?

The cabin is about a 9-minute walk from the Kempenbos bus stop. From the stop, leave the main road and simply walk straight ahead for a short distance until you reach the park. First, you will pass the Summio Parc Duc de Brabant reception. Continue walking along the Krampvenseweg until you have passed the stone cottages. Just after this, you will see the entrance to Chaletpark Kempenbos.

Bicycles and e-choppers are available to hire at the neighbouring Summio Park, ideal for exploring the local area in a fun and comfortable way.

What facilities does the park have?

The forest cabin is located on a quiet nature park without the typical features of a traditional holiday park, meaning there are no on-site facilities. However, you are very welcome to use the facilities at the neighbouring Summio Parc Duc de Brabant. This park offers a heated outdoor swimming pool (open from early May to mid-September), bike hire, and a camp shop, amongst other things. For more details, please see our park page.
